Cooper is an academic standout, with perfect ACT score (36) and grade-point-average (Unweighted - 4.00 / Weighted - 4.85).

He is heavily engaged at school, with schedules of entirely honors courses, encompassing 14 AP courses across his high school career. Cooper is a captain of the Deerfield Track & Field Team, and will be serving as the captain of the debate team, scholastic bowl team, the president of the DECA team, culture club, and editor-in-chief of the newspaper.

Cooper is also active in the sustainability movement, holding the position as a market manager for the esteemed Ravinia Farmers Market in northern Chicago, has created and developed a farmers market digital directory called the Farmers Market Reporter, and spends time as an assistant garden manager for the local Organic Teaching Garden. Cooper also has spread his efforts in founding and orchestrating a growing non-for-profit organization called the Student Assembly for Academic Advocacy (StAfAA).
